The event welcomes runners from across the spectrum, from international to fun runners/joggers. There is a lead and rear safety vehicle, first aid cover and over 20 on course marshal’s. Staged in November, it starts and finishes on Maltby High Road circumnavigating a course of approximately 7 miles, passing through the villages of Seamer and Thornton, before returning to Maltby. It is an undulating course. Water station at 3.5 miles and bottled water at the finish. Both lead and rear vehicles display amber flashing lights

There is an extensive prize list, to include male/female runners up to and including age 70, male & 65 female. There is a team prize for the first male and female open team (3 to count). Every finisher receives a Goodie Bag. The general view of runners being that the event gives value for money.
